It is important to properly care for your hair extensions and wigs. For the best results we recommend the following:
- Do not sleep with your wig on.
- Braid your hair extensions while sleeping and if possible, sleep on a silk pillow.
- Avoid products containing alcohol or ethanol. If possible only use salon-grade products purchased from an actual salon.
Raw temple hair is the best resource on the planet for quality hair. This is because donors freely offer their hair as a donation. The cuticles are intact and the hair is well-cared for and free from damaging chemicals.
They clip in with little snap clips with combs on that are invisible once you’ve got them in. With practice, they should take 5 minutes to put in & about 60 seconds to take out. The Wefts can take longer and will require a hairdresser. Hair wefts allow you to choose your attachments method. The hair wefts come in a curtain-like shape with double-sewn ends that can be used with methods such as weaving, micro-rings, glue or clips, according to your needs and wishes.
They clip under your own hair by small snap clips. The clips we use are high-quality clips with a silicone insert so they will not slip or damage your hair and are extremely secure. Once fitted you will not be able to see the clips.
We use 100% Remy Human Hair in our Extensions. Nothing beats the versatility of human hair extensions. Human hair, unlike synthetic hair, can be straightened with a flat iron, curled with heat, or chemically treated to perm or dye the hair. Thin and fine hair becomes full and thicker. Short hair transforms into long, luxurious hair. We guarantee that the hair we sell is 100% Natural Human hair & is ethically sourced.
Yes, we only use Remy Hair in our extensions. The term Remy means ‘Cuticle correct’. This means that only the finest virgin (Untreated & not previously colored) hair is used. The hair differs from normal ‘Silky’ hair that’s available on the market because it is handpicked & aligned so that every single strand runs in the same direction that it grows from the scalp. This ensures that the cuticle on each hair is running the same way (downwards), in order to keep the hair shiny & soft. After picking & aligning, the hair goes through a gentle; but very complicated treatment process, to color, straighten & treat the hair in the best way.
The difference is the length and weight (thickness). We have a range of lengths and weights to suit all-natural hair types. All our extensions are the same high quality offered at 100 grams. Contact us if you would like to order higher than 100 grams for a thicker look and feel.
Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/straightener or tongs, even when fitted, but as with your own hair, never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long. We do not recommend using hot tools that are higher than 170°C. We highly recommend using a heat protectant before using hot tools.
We completely understand that choosing the right color from a computer screen cannot always be easy, to ensure the exact color please send us a sample of your own hair and we will try to match it, (please email for postal address) or you can simply upload your photo onto our color match form. Hair extensions can usually be one shade lighter or darker than your hair & still blend in. It makes all the difference once they are clipped in. In general, most people’s hair is darker underneath than on. We offer an easy exchange policy if your hair extensions do not match, simply return them along with a sample of your own hair (if necessary) for an exchange of the correct color or refund.
The hair can be colored or toned if required. As a general rule, it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. Blonde hair has been bleached more so more caution must be taken when carrying out a dying / toning process. We highly recommend having your hairdresser dye/tone the extensions as you will get the results you want, coloring or toning the hair always poses a high risk of not coming out of the shade you want. We do not advise attempting to color the silicone tops as this may damage the silicone. Always test a small sample first & wash the hair prior to dying. We do not recommend bleaching the hair. Please note that dying or toning the extensions is done so at your own risk and voids any chance of return.
You can wash them as you would your own – Shampoo and conditioner. However, we do suggest a shampoo to be preferably sulfate-free and designed for colored hair. For a conditioner, we would recommend a product that contains an Argan/Hair Oil or using Coconut Oil as a deep conditioner. We also recommend using a hair treatment on them every few weeks such as a hair mask, because the hair is not attached to your scalp it is not getting the oils it should be. Using a treatment/hair mask will help keep them looking healthier and shiny for longer! You will find that you don’t need to wash your extensions too much, about every 3 weeks. The extensions can be blow-dried, but it is not recommended to do it too often. It is best to let your hair extensions dry naturally after washing them.
